Yoga Classes for Seniors
Ralph Freestun and Christine Crocker offer classes specifically for older adults, supported by the RSL Maleny.
Yoga is ideal for improving flexibility, strength, endurance and balance. It is the perfect method for improving your overall fitness, promoting healthy ageing and reversing the effects of sedentary lifestyle.
By the use of relaxation, meditation and breathing techniques, Yoga also affects the mind, bringing peace and other benefits.
Level 2 Class – Monday 8am – 9.15am
Level 1 Class – Monday 9.45am – 11am
(a gentler practice suitable for beginners)

Ralph Freestun is a qualified teacher with the International Yoga Teachers Association. He has been practicing for 20 years and has been taking senior’s classes on the Range for over 4 years.
Christine Crocker has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. She graduated as a Yoga Teacher in 2014 and has a strong interest in teaching yoga to seniors.
Sunday Collectables Markets
The Maleny Collectables Market operates every Sunday from 8am – 2pm in the RSL Hall.
The Market is undercover and so opens rain, hail or shine offering a great variety of local stalls.
Stalls include: Fresh produce, an organic Fair Trade Cafe’, locally produced arts and crafts, antiques and collectables, books, jewellery, candles, soap, jams and pickles, hot food, crystals, massage, tarot readings and lots more.

After thirty years of hitting drums there aren’t too many gigs Erin hasn’t played. It’s a full time job for him and after fifteen years, teaching seemed like a fun thing to do. It turns out Erin is pretty good at it.
